Ganesh Chaturthi is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi/ Ganesh Charturthi. It is Celebrated in india. This Festival falls on Bhadrav(August, September) Month.
Lord Ganesh is the remover of obstacles and therefore we worship Ganesh can clear the hurdles to progress and bless us with clarity of thought, strength,  success and prosperity.

During the ritual, various offerings including sweets, coconuts, Fagu and flowers are made to the idol

The idols of Lord Ganesh are worshiped in every evening with an aarti. And On the Visarjan day, a great procession arranged by devotees to say good bye Lord Ganesh.
